Business Development Manager:
NDI Engineering Company is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager who will identify opportunities, actively participate in proposal development, including preparation of resumes, technical approaches, past performance, and management approach. QUALITY ASSURANCE OVERSIGHT REPRESENTATIVE:
Seeking several candidates that have 5 years' experience as Level 1 Material Certifier or 5 years' experience working with Quality Systems which meet either MIL-I-45208/ISO 9000 standards or 10 years' Quality Assurance experience with SUBSAFE and LEVEL I Systems. Program Manager (PM)

Senior Safety/Safety Management System Specialist

* A minimum of 5 years' actual sea service sailing under that license on board a USCG certificated ship.

* Six (6) years' experience as a quality assurance engineer working for a ship builder, ship repairer, ship owner or design experience in an engineering related field to marine engineering and naval architecture.

Engineer / Naval Architect

* Four (4) years' experience in operation, calibration, analyzing and providing recommendations of thermographic readings of electrical distribution switchboards, control panels, and distribution panels and other electrical systems and equipment.
* Certified by the Infraspection Institute as an Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer.

ENGINEERS, DESIGNERS, MARINE, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, NAVAL, STRUCTURAL: Positions available for marine, mechanical and electrical engineers and naval architects with experience in ship construction and alteration design. Experience developing mechanical and electrical systems alteration and installation drawings desired. Knowledge of NAVSEA, MSC (Military Sealift Command Ships), NAVAIR, and USCG drawing standards desired. Performing ship surveys and inspections also desired. Experience with shipboard propulsion and power transmission systems (Gears, Clutches, Bearings, Controller Pitch Propeller (CPP) & non CPP Systems, Rudders, and Waterjets) is a plus but not required. Must be able to apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test and evaluate systems, subsystems, components, and parts. Some positions require experience related to shipboard naval aircraft launch and recovery equipment (ALRE). Candidate must be a US Citizen with a driver's license and able to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS: Seeking Electrical Engineers with a concentration in power systems to support the design of test facilities for Naval Ship Systems. The selected candidate will be part of a project team and will interface with program managers, U.S. Navy engineers, and equipment manufacturers. The selected candidate will design electrical power systems in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC), prepare analysis reports, develop specifications for electrical equipment, develop one-line and schematic diagrams and oversee development of installation drawings. BS in Electrical Engineering and/or 4 or more years of electrical power systems experience. Professional Engineering license preferred. Experience with power systems analysis programs (such as SKM POWER TOOLS), AutoCAD, or computer programming a definite plus. The candidate must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance. The position is located in Thorofare, New Jersey.

CAD OPERATOR/3-D MODELER: Have an immediate need for CAD operators/3-D Modelers to develop drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor. The work includes developing multi-sheet drawings and models using sketches, notes, and drawing iteration markups received from department engineers and engineering technicians. Drawings developed will be complete using customer standard templates and formatting. Drawings will include system and equipment arrangements, system diagrams, components, assemblies and sub-assemblies, material lists, and identification tables. Requires experience using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Acrobat for printing of customer ready PDF files. Experience with developing 2D drawings is a must, and experience with 3D solid modeling is a plus. CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER: NDI Engineering Company is looking for successful candidates fluent in DOD Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification/accreditation processes, the development of required artifacts, and a working knowledge of the applicable DoD instructions and policies with respect to Platform Information Technology (PIT) and PIT Interconnections Information Assurance. Candidates must have a demonstrated understanding of the technical, engineering, and programmatic capabilities related to information systems and/or subsystems, a knowledge of systems engineering principles, network architecture analysis, verification and validation of requirements, and operational context of shipboard machinery control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A), technical security features testing & analysis, risk analysis, Critical Program Information (CPI), and experience in developing and implementing Cybersecurity Strategies in a DOD acquisition environment. The position requires a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or related degree, with 5-10 years of relevant experience, including the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process and development of DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) /Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification packages. CompTIA Security + required; CISSP/CISM a plus. Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) candidates must be an U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret clearance; an SBBI investigation will be required. SOFTWARE ENGINEER: NDI Engineering Company requires Computer/Software Engineers with 2-10 years professional experience supporting the development, production, testing, and fielding of Navy control systems both in the lab and afloat. Candidates must possess the skills needed to work with multiple operating systems, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools, database macros; C++ object-oriented code development and front-end Java development, and have an understanding of interface requirements coding to/from tiered sensor and alarm systems. Candidates must have the skills to develop graphical user interfaces and application software. Project tasking will be in support of Navy specific system development, installation and verification of fielded systems on board ship and at ashore test site labs. SENIOR LOGISTICIAN: NDI Engineering Company is seeking hardworking, qualified candidates with minimum 10 years' experience (active duty military, civilian government or DOD contractor). The ideal candidate will have experience in a DOD-related environment in the functional discipline of logistic. Experience with Surface Ships or submarines, Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) systems, ship construction highly desirable. TRAINING INSTRUCTOR: NDI Engineering Company is seeking a hardworking, qualified candidate to conduct classroom training to watch standers, including Operators and Test Engineers of various technical disciplines. Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of technical documentation and communicate that expertise to the trainees. Along with classroom training, instructors will complete OJT walkthroughs of systems. The instructor must be able to answer trainee questions and make modifications to presentation style and course material to meet requirements of both the project and their supervisor. Instructors will ensure training material is accurate and up to date and provide advisory role in the development of new training programs and materials when needed. Collaborate with other designer and developers in all phases of the learning framework (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation), to think creatively to produce and recommend new concepts and ideas. Engage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure relevant learning. Adequately scope, communicate, and plan for SME involvement to ensure accurate content design. Be involved with SME reviews to incorporate Lesson's Learned after each training event. Maintenance and Engineering Operational Sequencing System (EOSS) are an important aspect of the program; instructor must demonstrate extensive knowledge in these areas to properly instruct trainees. Follow up with Compatibility Test Facility (CTF) management team to determine applicability of course materials and take lessons learned from Training Coordinator to incorporate into future training events. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS-(EMALS): NDI Engineering Company requires several experienced Electrical Engineers with 3 to 10 years of experience to work with the US Navy's Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS). Desired experience: Power Concentration System (PCS); Prime Power Interface Subsystem (PPIS); Printed circuit board (PCB) and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing experience; High power electronics (IGBT, SCR, inverters, rectifiers, etc.); Power supplies (including high frequency ~50kHz); Power magnetics (transformers, inductors). Candidates should also be familiar with: Multi-level power converters, specifically neutral point clamped inverters; Thyristors; Snubber circuits for switching transients; and power electronics experience with high power (>1 MW) components is a plus. MECHANICAL ENGINEER-(EMALS): NDI Engineering Company requires an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to work with the US Navy's Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS). Desired experience: Emphasis in mechanics of materials; i.e. stress, strain, and fatigue principals; Strong in machine design encompassing but not limited to the following: basic rules in material selection, understanding galvanic corrosion, principles of bolted connections; Working knowledge of finite-element analysis principles; Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing; Read and review engineering drawings; CAD and 3D modeling: preferable experience in PTC CREO and AUTOCAD. Also the following experience/knowledge is consider a plus, but not required: principles of fracture analysis, dimensional tolerance analysis using a statistical approach. MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN-(CNC Repair): NDI Engineering Company is seeking a mechanical technician with strong electronic and electrical troubleshooting skills and possesses a good working aptitude for mechanical, electrical and CNC repair. Needs to diagnose and repair production machines; e.g. mills, lathes, etc. Machinery mechanics work with fine, critical dimensions for almost every part. Work from sketches, diagrams, blueprints, written specifications, or oral instructions. The control of quality and accuracy is met by the machinists' use of precision measuring devices to include micrometers, vernier gauges, and various other gauges and the subsequent adjustment of machine tool controls. Minimum of 10 years' experience. The candidate must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Location: Lakehurst, NJ.

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER: NDI Engineering Company has an immediate need for a senior level engineer that has in depth understanding of strength, fatigue, and fracture analysis. Experience with FEA modeling and analysis is required. Experience with ABAQUS, ANSYS, ALGOR, and Mechanica are preferred. The individual should have experience validating analytical tools with test data. Knowledge of ASME boiler pressure code is also beneficial. The individual will be part of a team focused on evaluating design analysis in conjunction with review of FEA models and test data. Experience with analysis of turbo machinery will also be beneficial. Fatigue and fracture analysis experience will also be beneficial. A BS degree is required. SYSTEMS ENGINEER-(EMALS): NDI Engineering Company requires Systems Engineers to provide Systems Engineering support for EMALS/AAG Ship Integration and Production efforts which include requirements and risk management, technical management products, including technical SOW and data requirements Implementations. Candidates will assist in coordination of technical work, and providing technical guidance in accordance with DoD Systems Engineering policies. Support includes tracking and management of contract deliverables from the prime contractor for the programs. It includes reviewing the materials and determining if they meet the requirements specified in the acquisition documents (System Specification, Statement of Work, and Contract Deliverable Items List) and coordination of the EMALS/AAG Technical Team inputs for incorporation to documents. Candidates will assist in reviewing data and analysis to determine if requirements have been verified and assist with ship integration coordination/implementations. Support also includes the coordination of deviations and waivers when the government team determines it is warranted. This includes support of Systems Engineering Technical Reviews and production of related material (Presentations, Checklists). Several positions are available with a range of experience requirements. CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATOR: NDI Engineering Company has a need for a Construction Cost Estimator with experience in Naval Ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) or Commercial Power Plant Systems. Familiarity with ship building or heavy construction preferred. Candidate must be knowledgeable in methods for estimating labor hours, material costs and equipment costs for various trades. ENGINEERS/TECHNICIANS-Submarine Antenna: NDI Engineering Company is seeking Engineers/Technicians with electronics experience. Candidates will support deployment readiness and post installation testing of the submarine antenna system approximately 3 weeks of travel every two months. Become a Subject Matter Expert in the Radio Frequency Distribution and Control System (RFDACS) and OE-592/538 submarine multifunction mast antenna systems. Respond to technical assistance requests.
