ENGINEERS, DESIGNERS, MARINE, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, NAVAL, STRUCTURAL: Positions available for marine, mechanical and electrical engineers and naval architects with experience in ship construction and alteration design. Experience developing mechanical and electrical systems alteration and installation drawings desired. Knowledge of NAVSEA, MSC (Military Sealift Command Ships), NAVAIR, and USCG drawing standards desired. Performing ship surveys and inspections also desired. Experience with shipboard propulsion and power transmission systems (Gears, Clutches, Bearings, Controller Pitch Propeller (CPP) & non CPP Systems, Rudders, and Waterjets) is a plus but not required. Must be able to apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test and evaluate systems, subsystems, components, and parts. Some positions require experience related to shipboard naval aircraft launch and recovery equipment (ALRE). ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS: Seeking Electrical Engineers with a concentration in power systems to support the design of test facilities for Naval Ship Systems. The selected candidate will be part of a project team and will interface with program managers, U.S. Navy engineers, and equipment manufacturers. The selected candidate will design electrical power systems in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC), prepare analysis reports, develop specifications for electrical equipment, develop one-line and schematic diagrams and oversee development of installation drawings. BS in Electrical Engineering and/or 4 or more years of electrical power systems experience. Professional Engineering license preferred. Experience with power systems analysis programs (such as SKM POWER TOOLS), AutoCAD, or computer programming a definite plus. The candidate must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance. The position is located in Thorofare, New Jersey.

COMPUTER SCIENTIST/PROGRAMMER: Seeking a Computer Scientist/Programmer with 5 years' experience to develop and install software solutions. The successful candidate will be able to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software and systems in compliance with NAVY standards and technical design criteria. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Execute full lifecycle software development; Write well designed, testable and efficient code; Integrate software components into fully functional system; Develop Software verification validations plans and procedures; Overseeing Test Efforts; Implement CMMi practices; Document and maintain software functionality; Requirements Analysis; Serve as a subject matter expert. CAD OPERATOR/3-D Modeler: Have an immediate need for CAD operators/3-D Modelers to develop drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor. The work includes developing multi-sheet drawings and models using sketches, notes, and drawing iteration markups received from department engineers and engineering technicians. Drawings developed will be complete using customer standard templates and formatting. Drawings will include system and equipment arrangements, system diagrams, components, assemblies and sub-assemblies, material lists, and identification tables. Requires experience using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Acrobat for printing of customer ready PDF files. Experience with developing 2D drawings is a must, and experience with 3D solid modeling is a plus. Experience in US Navy type drawings are beneficial. Candidate must be a US Citizen with a driver's license and able to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance. HVAC TECHNICIAN - Lakehurst NJ: Seeking candidates for a full-time position with at least 5 years of experience with the assembly, troubleshooting, repair, and/or overhaul of commercial HVAC electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Experience with welding, hydrostatic testing, vacuum insulated tank repair, mechanical fabrication, precision water jet capabilities, heat treating, painting, and non-destructive inspection (NDI) is a plus. Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance. Location: Lakehurst, NJ. NAVAIR Lakehurst's Cryogenic Rework Facility serves the fleet by providing complete depot level overhaul and repair work for the entire spectrum of naval cryogenic support equipment (SE).

Engineering CREO CAD Technician-Designer - Lakehurst NJ: Have an immediate need for an engineering CAD technician to design/develop solid model parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and drawings using PTC CREO CAD software. The work including creating or checking and editing parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, diagrams, equipment arrangements, system arrangements and material lists. Requires minimum two years' experience using PTC CREO CAD software to develop solid models for mechanical end items. Experience in dimensioning and tolerancing is a plus. Experience in ship systems is beneficial. Candidate must be a US Citizen with a driver's license and able to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance. QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST/TECHNICIAN - Lakehurst NJ: Seeking a QA Technician with a minimum of five years of experience in reading engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and familiarity with commercial and military specifications. Familiarity with NAVAIR drawing formats, MPRs, and MIL specs is preferred but not required. Experience in the measurement and inspection of mechanical components similar to those used in Aircraft Launch and Recovery Systems. In addition, experience in administration of and/or support of Quality Management Systems such as MIL-I-45208, ISO 9001 or equivalent and relevant knowledge of DOD procurement processes and DOD supply system organization with regard to executing contract quality assurance requirements and management of deficient products is desired. Candidate shall have a minimum of five years of experience in performing product inspection and conformance verification. Experience needed in using manual verification tools (e.g. gages, calipers, etc.), non-destructive test methods (e.g. magnetic particle inspection), and automated methods (e.g. operation and programing of coordinate measuring machines using PC-DMIS and Zeiss Calypso software). The candidate must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance. The position is located in Lakehurst, New Jersey.

Engineering Technician (Navy): Seeking an immediate Engineering Technician with five to ten years of Navy electrical and mechanical experience. Candidate must be familiar with interfacing with field equipment using computer connected software for conducting setup, diagnostics, and simulations. Should be able to read and understand technical drawings and technical manuals. Familiar with Navy logistics and maintenance systems is desirable. Prior Navy or long-term "Navy as a customer" relationship is highly desirable, particularly with aircraft carriers. Decent oral and written communication skills are required. Travel 25%-35%. Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance. Location: Philadelphia, PA.

SOFTWARE/PROGRAMMER ENGINEER - Lakehurst NJ: NDI Engineering Company requires experience in Computer Science as applied to small to medium scale projects. Candidates shall have a minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Computer Science or Computer Engineering supporting development, production, testing, or fielding a Navy system. Candidates shall possess the skills needed to work with current operating systems, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools, database macros; writing code in procedural or object-oriented languages; and operating or programming relational database management systems. Candidates shall have the skills to develop graphical user interfaces and application software. Project tasking will be in support of Navy specific system development, installation and verification of fielded systems and labs, including system administration and infrastructure functions for system support labs. An understanding of Navy Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment and/or Aircraft Support Equipment is preferred. An additional 3 years of experience beyond those stated above may be substituted for the degree requirement. MECHANICAL ENGINEER: Job Duties: Develop designs for piping systems. Requires experience in the development of fluid system analyses, P&IDs and equipment specifications. Experience in HVAC design would also be beneficial. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance. Years of experience: 6 years in the design of Marine Ship Systems, Navy Ship Systems a plus. Education Required: BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering. SYSTEMS ENGINEER - Lakehurst NJ: NDI Engineering Company requires Systems Engineers to provide Systems Engineering support for EMALS/AAG Ship Integration and Production efforts which include requirements and risk management, technical management products, including technical SOW and data requirements Implementations. Candidates will assist in coordination of technical work, and providing technical guidance in accordance with DoD Systems Engineering policies. Support includes tracking and management of contract deliverables from the prime contractor for the programs. It includes reviewing the materials and determining if they meet the requirements specified in the acquisition documents (System Specification, Statement of Work, and Contract Deliverable Items List) and coordination of the EMALS/AAG Technical Team inputs for incorporation to documents. Candidates will assist in reviewing data and analysis to determine if requirements have been verified and assist with ship integration coordination/implementations. Support also includes the coordination of deviations and waivers when the government team determines it is warranted. This includes support of Systems Engineering Technical Reviews and production of related material (Presentations, Checklists). Several positions are available with a range of experience requirements. Familiarity with DoD and Navy acquisition processes is a requirement for more senior positions and a plus for junior level positions. SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER, Part Time Lakehurst NJ: NDI Engineering Company has an immediate need for a senior level engineer to work part time that has in depth understanding of strength, fatigue, and fracture analysis. Experience with FEA modeling and analysis is required. Experience with ABAQUS, ANSYS, ALGOR, and Mechanica are preferred. The individual should have experience validating analytical tools with test data. Knowledge of ASME boiler pressure code is also beneficial. The individual will be part of a team focused on evaluating design analysis in conjunction with review of FEA models and test data. Experience with analysis of turbo machinery will also be beneficial. Fatigue and fracture analysis experience will also be beneficial. A BS degree is required. CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER: Seeking a candidate for a Civil Structural Engineer that has a BS Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering with 4 or more years of design experience. Candidate will design steel and concrete structures in accordance with International Building Code (IBC), American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) standards, and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) design manuals. Professional Engineering License is preferred. Experience with structural analysis or Finite Element Analysis (FEA) programs and STAAD.pro is a plus. ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN: Seeking a Senior Engineering Technician with over 10 years' hands-on test site and/or shipboard operation and operational/depot maintenance experience associated with US Navy Aircraft Carrier Arrestment Systems including experience with Advanced Recovery Controls and Valve Actuation and Control sub-systems (CROV) including CROV actuators and ancillary equipment. Mechanical and electro-hydraulic system operating experience required. Candidate needs experience with Quality Assurance as well as familiarity with inventory management. Demonstrated leadership ability is also sought. Occasional travel to vendors and the prime contractor will be required. Location: Thorofare, NJ.

In this position, the candidate will communicate frequently with senior engineers and NDI's design organization. Candidate must have experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook.
