Entry Level/ELECTRICAL ENGINEER: Seeking an Electrical Engineer with a concentration in power systems to support the design of test facilities for Naval Ship Systems. The selected candidate will be part of a project team and will interface with senior engineers, program managers, U.S. Navy civilian engineers, and equipment manufacturers. The selected candidate will design electrical power systems in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC), prepare analysis reports, develop specifications for electrical equipment, develop one-line and schematic diagrams and oversee development of installation drawings. BS in Electrical Engineering; 0-3 years of electrical power systems experience (will consider recent graduate with applicable co-op/intern experience). Experience with power systems analysis programs (such as SKM POWER TOOLS), AutoCAD, or computer programming a definite plus. ENGINEER or ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN: NDI Engineering Company is seeking candidates to support the Navy in Philadelphia, PA. Candidates must have a strong background in Planned Maintenance System (PMS); and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM-Level I and II). Technical background in mechanical and/or electrical equipment and systems needed. GAS TURBINE ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN: NDI Engineering is seeking a Gas Turbine Engineering Technician with 3 years experience with the maintenance and operation of gas turbine engines, control systems and ancillary equipment. Must have training on the maintenance and operation of military based technical equipment such as Gas Turbine Technical School. Must be experienced in special corrective maintenance procedures to restore failed equipment to an operational condition with predetermined parameters specific to LM2500 and 501K, etc., engine lines. MATLAB PROGRAMMER: Seeking candidates that have knowledge of developing mathematical models utilizing Matlab/Simulink. Required advanced knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques. HEAT TREAT TECHNICIAN: Seeking experienced candidates for a technician's position working in a heat treating ship and operating the heat treating equipment. At least three (3) to five (5) years' experience is a must. The candidate must be able to operate a vacuum furnace and understand heat treat processes. The heat treating ship is located on-base at Navy Lakehurst. The applicant must have a valid driver's license. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER-Lakehurst, NJ Area: Seeking candidates for an Electrical Engineering position on-site at NAWCAD Lakehurst, NJ assisting the Visual Landing Aids group. The following requirements apply: Education: BSEE or higher from an accredited college or university. Experience: 5-10 years of engineering experience. In-service engineering experience for Navy shipboard systems is a requirement. Preferred experience includes: Electro-optical design and development for military shipboard lighting systems. Also, electrical controls experience including control box design and motor control design. Must be able to troubleshoot fielded electrical, electronic, hydraulic, or mechanical systems, developing work-around solutions, and identification of potential redesigns. Must be able to advise field technicians as to how to bring equipment back to an operable condition when inoperable. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to review and prepare required documentation for assigned tasks such as letters, messages, technical reports, engineering drawings and other forms of technical documentation. Must be able to brief higher level management on status of assigned tasks and any potential problems. MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN: Mechanical technician with strong electronic and electrical troubleshooting skills and possesses a good working aptitude for mechanical, electrical and CNC repair. Needs to diagnose and repair production machines; e.g. mills, lathes, etc. Machinery mechanics work with fine, critical dimensions for almost every part. Work from sketches, diagrams, blueprints, written specifications, or oral instructions. The control of quality and accuracy is met by the machinists' use of precision measuring devices to include micrometers, vernier gauges, and various other gauges and the subsequent adjustment of machine tool controls. Minimum of 10 years' experience. The candidate must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Location: Lakehurst, NJ

DESIGNER/3D CAD OPERATOR: (2 Positions) 1. Develop drawings using 3D AutoCAD, including diagrams, equipment arrangements, system arrangements and material lists. Must be capable of conducting on site investigations to gather data. Requires experience AutoCAD, preferably in 3D. Experience in ship systems or power plant systems are beneficial. 2. Develop solid model parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and drawings using AutoCad, Inventor, Creo, and Solidworks. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER/MECHANICAL ENGINEER: NDI Engineering Company is seeking local qualified candidates for engineering positions on-base at Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ. We are seeking a senior degreed mechanical or structural engineer from an accredited university for work involving military shipboard systems related to aircraft launch and recovery equipment including catapults, arresting gear, and visual landing aids. The candidate must be experienced in computer FEA modeling of structures and dynamic systems with experience in interpreting FEA results including stresses, deflections, and natural frequencies (not just creating or running FEA models). Experience and the ability to use the following computer analysis software: I-deas; NX; ANSYS; or PRO/E Creo; or Abacus is required. Prior design and in-service engineering experience with Navy shipboard systems is preferred. Communications skills are important. The tasking requires reviewing and preparing written documentation such as letters, emails and messages, technical reports, engineering drawings, presentation materials, and other forms of technical documentation. The tasking also requires participating in large group meetings and providing briefs to higher level management on status of assigned tasks and any potential problems. The candidate will be required to follow structured system engineering procedures and processes. An understanding and experience with system engineering principals and technical reviews is a plus.
