Cyber Security Engineer:
NDI Engineering Company is seeking Cyber Security Engineers with at least 2 years of related experience and the ability to work onsite in Lakehurst, NJ. Below are job requirements and qualifications for IAT levels II and III. All positions require an active Department of Defense (DOD) Secret level clearance with SSBI. Warehouse Inventory Control Supply Technician:
NDI Engineering is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Supply Technician with two (2) years' experience in warehouse inventory including maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels; reporting shortages, overages and all inventory levels monthly for replenishment; classifying, labeling, locating and warehousing all inventory for future use. The individual should also have two (2) years' experience in assemblage of material designated on packing slips/orders for material; packaging and labeling material for shipment; receiving incoming shipments of material; retrieving packing slips, routing incoming material to cognizant requestor or area; retrieving invoices for signature when necessary; documenting receipt of material. NDI Engineering Company is seeking a Submarine SAIL Electrician Engineering Technician to help support the installation, repair, and maintenance of submarine sail and towed antenna systems in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center. . Electronics Calibration Technician:
NDI Engineering Company is seeking a Calibration Technician who will calibrate, maintain and track status of electronic equipment for military applications. Provide technical and procedural advice and guidance concerning metrology related matters for same. Provide in-depth technical advice in metrology calibration disciplines. An in-depth knowledge of the basic concepts of electronics disciplines. This knowledge shall include basic electricity, electronics, circuit theory, digital logic, algebra, and physics disciplines. Successful completion of a military Precision Measurement and Calibration Program or equivalent training from an accredited U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps school is highly desired. Engineering Logistics Management Analyst:
NDI Engineering Company is a seeking mid-to-senior level Engineering Logistics Analyst to support advanced NAVAIR Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) programs. Candidates should have five (5) years of experience related to Navy integrated product support (IPS) functions for new acquisition and/or sustaining logistics for shipboard systems and the development of supporting analytics. Responsibilities: * Develops and implements product support and maintenance concepts/requirements for NAVAIR EMALS & AAG systems to achieve program goals and objectives with minimum life cycle cost adjustments or increases. * Determines replenishment priorities within the supply system. Support all elements of demand and match supply, inventory and supply chain project planning activities. * Regularly analyzes inventory accuracy, inventory efficiency, safety stock settings, and quantity on hand to ensure the supply chain is optimized. * Determines best approach in expending resources to ensure adequate and affordable logistics support posture. Technical Data Management Specialist:
NDI Engineering Company is a seeking qualified product data management specialist to support advanced NAVAIR Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) programs. Candidates should have five (5) years of experience in managing engineering product data, technical data packages (TDPs), and supporting documentation, across development and production baselines. Responsibilities: . Identify, analyze, maintain and recommend implementation of data management plans, policies, standards, and procedures for complex Navy systems. . Ensure data integrity of all engineering and logistics data and descriptive documentation required to operate and support Navy ALRE systems throughout their lifecycle (TDPs), including, but not limited to design/development/test data, ECPs, REIs, waiver/deviations, and supporting logistics data. . Collect, organize, maintain, correct, and retrieve programmatic and engineering documentation and data associated with multiple developmental and production baselines for NAVAIR Aircraft Launch and Recovery (ALRE) systems. . Manage Government Furnished Information (GFI) data and ensure secure delivery to required points of use; ensure proper routing and storage of documents. . Conform and migrate existing change management data to official repositories. . Heat Treat/Materials Engineering Technician:
Candidates should have knowledge, experience, education on material sciences typically involving metal alloys. Areas include but not limited to: - Rockwell hardness - Tempering - Quenching - Stress Relief - Crystal alignment and formation in metal alloys - Strength of Materials Candidates should have the ability to operate various Heat Treat ovens/equipment, including vacuum furnaces, oil/water/salt bath quench tanks, induction heating. Candidates should be familiar with all typical non-destructive inspection techniques for metal alloys including Rockwell Hardness testers, Cat Scan, Ultra sound. Candidates should have knowledge of Material (ASTM) standards and have the ability apply standards to work with engineers in developing new heat treat procedures in support of prototyping efforts. Advance Planning Support:
The candidate provides direct management and supervision of all major functions, disciplines, or segment of the program that provides U.S. Navy surface Ship Repair Items and Ship Alterations including work definition, material identification and cost using drawings, technical documents, NAVSEA Standard Items, and physical Ship checks. Reports to an Advanced Planning Manager (APM).. . Mid-Level: Five to seven years managing U.S. Navy depot level surface Ship maintenance planning and estimating functions and/or availability work package development. * Preferred experience includes management, supervisory or production controller roles at Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair Command, Regional Maintenance Center, Navy Central Planning Activity, Planning for Engineering and Repair Activity, and public or private shipyards at the tradesman or shop level. * Experience as a Naval Supervising Authority Project Manager is also preferred. JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLSETS: Must be familiar with working in a SUPSHIP/Naval shipyard environment including both planning and engineering organization. Excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to resolve conflicts. In-depth experience in Ship modernization and maintenance practices is strongly desired. Experience with use of the Navy Maintenance Database (NMD) is desired. Experience with Ship maintenance providers including SUPSHIP/naval shipyards and Regional Maintenance Centers desired. Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs. Ability to work on and climb US Navy Ship ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces. Configuration Management Specialist:
NDI Engineering Company is seeking an experienced CM Specialist with 3-5 years of Navy Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) for new acquisition ships and ships transitioning to in-service. This will include configuration item (CI) data supporting development, testing, evaluation, delivery, operation, and maintenance of CI baselines; tracking all changes and accurately reconciling NAVAIR developed CI data with shipboard CSA databases (CDMD-OA/SCLSIS). CIs will include hardware, software, firmware, and support items for major ship programs.Location: Lakehurst, NJ Requirements: . Provide Configuration Management technical services in support of NAVAIR ALRE programs . Conduct research and define NAVAIR to NAVSEA CSA boundaries and integration points . Utilize workflow tools such as CDMD-OA to identify and report shipboard baseline physical and functional characteristics for ALRE programs . Recommend methods to transform NAVAIR ALRE CSA to utilize Navy standard applications to the greatest extent practicable . Conform ALRE CSA practices to higher-level Navy guidance and procedures; advise management on CSA issues and strategies . Gather, process, analyze, and enter configuration data into approved CSA databases and repositories; ensure accuracy and reconciliation of databases (ashore and afloat); working knowledge of CDMD-OA/SCLSIS and/or DECKPLATE. . NDI Engineering Company is seeking a hardworking, qualified candidate with minimum 3 years experience (active duty military, civilian government or DOD contractor) Navy preferred. Knowledge of DOD supply and/or maintenance technical documentation (technical manuals, procedures and plans), and analyses necessary. Must be able to respond in a fast paced project environment. Associate's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or related field of study or equivalent military certification required. NDI Engineering Company is looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in Cyber Security Engineering to work with a team of high energy software and system developers in delivering new/updated systems to the Navy. Qualified candidates should demonstrate a solid 2 years of cyber experience in a development and test environment, with a minimum of one year of experience using vulnerability analysis tools including, but not limited to, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Security Requirement Guides (SRG). NDI is seeking qualified Computer Information System candidates with at least 3 years of professional experience in IT/Help Desk support and asset management for engineering test site environment. The candidate must be proficient at maintaining and configuring legacy and updated Windows Operating Systems and have a working knowledge of various levels of network security. The candidate will perform computer networking services and support a host of Information Technology (IT) hardware and services for multiple shipboard test and integration sites, including installation and software and security updates. SENIOR SOFTWARE/CONTROL SYSTEM ENGINEER:
NDI is seeking a senior level engineer with a minimum of seven years of professional experience in the software development of engineering or industrial machinery control systems using C++, Java, and/or MATLAB, and experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop, compile, and debug source code in C++/CLI, Managed C++, or C# using .NET framework and/or Linux OS. BOILER PLANT CONTROLS ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN:
NDI Engineering is seeking experienced Boiler Plant Controls technicians for full-time work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Requires at least 5-7 years experience in general, planned, and corrective maintenance of shipboard steam plant controls, and an understanding of maintenance planning, and RMMCO check-in/check-out processes and responsibilities. NDI Engineering Company is seeking a QA Technician with a minimum of five years of experience in reading engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and familiarity with commercial and military specifications. Familiarity with NAVAIR drawing formats, MPRs, and MIL specs is preferred but not required. Experience in the measurement and inspection of mechanical components similar to those used in Aircraft Launch and Recovery Systems.
