Machinery Research
and Development

For decades now, we have been developing and producing systems and equipment for installation aboard U.S. Navy vessels.

Our machinery group is experts in electro-mechanical equipment and electrical power generation, conversion, and distribution equipment.

The equipment designed by us is a system engineered to meet shipboard requirements for shock & vibration, EMI emissions & susceptibility, salt spray & fog, temperature, reliability, maintainability, and other environmental criteria.

Project Experience Includes:

Aircraft Launch & Recovery Equipment:

  • Jet Blast Deflector (JBD) Visual Monitoring and Electronic Pilot Weight Board Display System
  • Valve Actuation & Control System (VAC) upgrade to MK7 arresting gear engine
  • M31 USMC Arresting Gear Program
  • Developed CAI Mod 2 shipboard Optical Landing System
  • Upgrade of C13 Mod 1 Steam Catapult
  • Upgraded high-pressure steam catapult to a low-pressure steam catapult
